About us
The respect, love and passion for animals were passed to me by my parents. They gave me the possibility to be surrounded by different animals since I was born. All those animals, that I shared my life with, taught me something and they all have a very special place in my heart.
In this place I would like to introduce you my story. In the early ages of my life I shared my life with a dog named Medo (Sharplaninec - Karst Shepherd mix). He was a big puppy, but unfortunately he left us when he was only 8 years old. His loss was very hard and this pain leads us to take another dog. In the 1998 a very special puppy girl came into our lives. Her name was Roni and she was a Karst Shepherd, a Slovenian autochthonous breed.
Roni brought into our lives a lot of cheerfulness and an immense energy that overcame us from the first moment we met. In the 1999 we attended a course of Obedience and passed the exam. We lost her in the autumn of 2013, after sharing our lives for 15 years and a half. The emptiness she leaved is overwhelming. I grow up with her and learned form her a lot. I feel so glad that she was part of my life and for all the inestimable life lessons she leaved to me. She is no more with us, but I’m still feeling her by my side.

With the ages my love for dogs continued to grow. In the 2009 I decide turning point of my life and what a better moment to take another dog! I chose the Rough Collie. The fate wanted that a puppy girl form Croatia became part of me. With Viivi it was love at first sight! Roni welcomed Viivi with enthusiasm and she passed her all her knowledge, virtues and also bad habits :)
Together with Viivi we discovered a new world, the world of cynology. We went to puppy school, a course of elementary obedience, Rally Obedience and dog Frisbee, witch is her passion. Viivi passed also a test for the pet therapy and I hope that in the near future we will become part of that. With her I discovered also dog shows, but unfortunately Viivi doesn’t like them too much. Anyway, she became Slovenian and Croatian Champion and is half a way to her C.I.B title!
A house is not a home without a cat and as our home is very pleasant, we have four cats :) They all are rescued form the street! Humane cruelty really don’t have limits...
In April 2016 I finally realize one of my biggest dreams and after driving more than 1700 km one way, my very first litter, so long awaited and so carefully planed, was on the way!
I registered my kennel with the name “Rosemary Hills”, in loving memory of my grandmother, Rose Mary. The name is also deriving from the place where I live, the hilly landscape in the inland of Koper. Of course, rosemary is an aromatic evergreen shrub typically for our Mediterranean region and it is also my favourite herb :)
On 16th June 2016 my dream come true as Viivi (Ch Arsiada Miss Daisy) and Jepsper (Ch Milas Live The Dream) gave us three wonderful puppies!
